Given the stress that has been going on at work, its nice to have something exciting to focus on at home. This morning we had another meeting with our SS and got to check out the finished tiling in the bathroom, ensuite, laundry and powder room plus the stacker stone on the front facade. The kitchen splashback tiling around the window will be done once the stone bench top is in place.
The benchtop has been measured for the Quantum Quartz. It takes about 7 working days to arrive. The kitchen sink has been delivered and a few other boxes of unidentified bits and pieces are sitting in the fridge cavity. I didn't get a chance to take a close look at them but am guessing they are either tapware or door handles etc from the sizes of the boxes.
The tiler has done a fantastic job. We are really impressed with his finishes. I can't wait to see everything all clean and shiny. It's going to be beautiful!
The painters are due to start on the internals on Monday and will take about a week and a half and then all of the fit offs begin. We have been given the heads up that we'll need to supply all of our light fittings in about a fortnight. The spare room is full of boxes of lights. We might reclaim some of the bigger boxes for packing once the lights are installed.
Unfortunately there are no photos today because my phone has been having a conniption this week and wont let me access anything on it. It might be visiting a Telstra Shop on the weekend. What fun that will be!
